The Qualicum Weavers and Spinners Guild has been part of the mid-island artisan community in Qualicum Beach, BC since 1991. The guild evolved from a small group of students of noted local weaver Elaine Duncan to more than 90 members! Why not join us?
We promote fibre arts through information sharing, demonstrations, and workshops. Explore our Calendar to learn more about our study groups, workshops and meetings.

Studio Projects
Studio Projects is a great way to try weaving on your own as a beginner, or try a different weave structure. Experienced weavers warp a loom (or two) for specific projects.
1) Sign up with the scheduler/coordinator.
2) Choose some dates and times that work for you.
3) Go to the studio to work on your project.
Click here for more information about the current Studio Projects.
Fun with Four
Gather at the Studio to discuss weaving on a 4-shaft loom.

Exploring More Online Study Group
Exploring More is for weavers who want to expand their horizons and may need a little incentive to push the boundaries of their knowledge. Explorations begin with research and discussions, then weaving a sample. We share what we’ve learned over 6 months or a year.
If you’re looking for a challenge, we meet monthly online from September to June. Learn more about Exploring More.
Knitorious Knitters
Knitters welcome! We have a regular group of knitters — beginners to advanced — who gather to chat and knit, explore techniques and get support.
If you’re looking for a group knit, we meet every other Tuesday afternoon all year. Learn more about the Knitorious Knitters.
